This week, we launch our new video series with the Parasha that starts it all: Bereshit. The story of the creation of the world is one of the most well-known narratives in history, but it’s also one of the most misunderstood. The text is layered with profound depth, containing secrets about the nature of reality, the purpose of humanity, and our relationship with the Creator.
In our latest video, we explore these layers. We blend a straightforward reading of the Chumash with insights from the classical commentaries and the deep mystical teachings of the Baal Shem Tov and the Kabbalists. We ask the big questions: Why was the world created? What is the spiritual significance of Adam’s creation from the dust of the Altar? And how does the story of the first sin continue to echo in our lives today?
